I:a: .._, I ORDINANCE NO. 1911 ' 0 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION II, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY INES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSI- FICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PRO- VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a sworn petition from F. M. Wells, Jr. and Roy J. Rachel requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate described hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 4, 1978, voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, on June 15, 1978, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said real property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171. 044, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as Ord, #19111 1 -1- 5/3/79 .• i1 t ? r 0.-It?sl S f to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor: From the NW corner of the NE 1 /4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 11, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, run S 8902214811 E along the N'ly line of said Section 11, 30.00 feet for a P. O. B.; thence continues S 89.2214811 E along said Section line (being also the S'ly line of Highland Estates of Clearwater as per plat in Plat Book 50, page 47, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida) 185 feet; thence run S 061310911 W parallel to the W'ly line of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 11, 236 feet; thence run N 89.2214811 W, 185 feet; thence run N 0.1310911 E along the E'ly right-of-way line of Highland Avenue (See O.R. Book 883, page 390, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida) 236 feet to the P. O. B. ; all lying, being and situate in Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting streets. AND From the NW corner of the NE 1/1 of the NW 1 /4 of Section 11, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, run S 89°22'48'1 E along the N'ly line of said Section 11 (Said line being also the S11y line of Highland Estates of Clearwater as per Plat Book 50, page 47, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida) 215 feet; thence run S 0°1310911 W parallel to the W'ly line of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 11, 82 feet ror a P.
