WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1687 was passed and adopted by the City
Commission of the City of Clearwater on August 18, 1977, which amended •;
the Zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1977, by classifying and }
zoning certain real property; and }
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1709 was passed and adopted by the City

Commission of the City of Clearwater on October 6, 1977, which amended K?
Ordinance No. 1687 to correct an error in the description of one of the

properties described therein; and .?
WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that there was insufficient notice

given before the enactment of these ordinances and the same should be V`4
repealed; and
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1977, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain

proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the it r#

zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of #
all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 1=

Section Z, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith

Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned in Jail for not
exceeding sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the
discretion of the Judge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist i ?

shall constitute a separate offense. t

Section S. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has +
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance x4

with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes,
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out " llJ)?J)}}

and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing

immediately upon its passage.
