WHEREAS

the City Commission of the City

of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of
all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and 'The Zoning Atlas
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 197811, as amended, is amended to
indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as P - Public Land District
The East 27.64 feet of the West 667.64 feet of the Soutli
200.0 feet of the South 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 9, Township 29 South, Range
16 East, Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.

Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or association
' of persons, who shall violate or fall to comply with any of the terms or
+1?t provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding
gg the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in jail for not
} exceeding sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion
of the' Fudge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
i been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance

f with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.

Section 7. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
