WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Weaver Enterprises, Inc. requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned
by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 1, 1978, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of
fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corpcr ate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Anthony L. Shoemaker, City Manager, of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel
of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on July b, 1978, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of
fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and

WHEREAS, on August 17, 1976, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.,
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171, 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County,, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor:
A parcel in the NE 1/4 of Section 12, Townahip Z9
South, Range 15 East, described as follows;
From the SW corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 12,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East, run thence
S 89°1811511 E, along the East-West centerline of
said Section 12, 50.0 feet; thence N 0°17'0011 E,
along a line 50.0 feet East and parallel to the North-
South centerline of said Section 12, 240. 0 feet for the
P. O. B.; thence continue N 0° 1710011 E, along a line 50. 0
feet East and parallel to the North-South centerline of
said Section 12, 585.24 feet; thence S 89*43100t1 E,
210.0 feet; thence N 0°17'0011 E, 99.60 feet; thence
S 89°2010211 E, 390. 0 feet; thence N 0°1710011 E, 374.0
feet to the South right-of-way line of Range Road; thence
S 89°2010211 E, along said South right-of-way line of
Range Road, 404.37 feet to the West right-of-way of
Kapp Drive; thence S 0*0610011 W, along said West right-
of-way of Kapp Drive, 1060. 79 feet; thence N 89 ° 1811511 W,

deeded to City of Clearwater and recorded in O. R. 4243,

The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.

Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,

made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, tho City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official maps
and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the fire
district classifications therefor.
Section 4._ This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter 171. 091, and Chapter
171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.

WHEREAS, on August 17, 1978, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the. provisions of Chapter 171. 0440
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County,, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor;
A parcel in the NE 1/4 of Section 12, Township 29
South, Range 15 East, described as follows;
From the SW corner of the NE 114 of Section 12,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East, run thence
S 89.18' 15" E, ailing the East-West centerline of
said Section 12, 50.0 feet; thence N 0.1710011 E,
along a line 50.0 feet East and parallel to the North-
South centerline of said Section 12, 240.0 feet for the
P. O. B.; thence continue N 0.1710011 E, along a line 50.0
feat East and parallel to the North-South centerline of
said Section' 12, 585.24 feet; thence S 89'4310011 E,
210.0 feet; thence N 0.1710011 E, 99.60 feet; thence

Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter-166.041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes.
Section S. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the- office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter- 171, 091, and Chapter
171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.
