ORDINANCE NO. 5103-91
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING THE EAST 12.00 FEET OF THE LAKE-DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENT, LYING ON LOT 14A, CLEARVIEW LAKE
ESTATES SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, LESS AND
EXCEPT THE SOUTH 5.00 FEET THEREOF; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Mary Lou Cook, owner of certain real
property located in the City of Clearwater, that the City vacate the drainage and
utility easement described herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary for
municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
The East 12.00 feet of the Lake-Drainage and Utility Easement lying on
Lot 14A, Clearview Lake Estates Subdivision, according to the plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 66, Page 37, of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida, less and except the South 5.00 feet thereof,
is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims and
releases all of its right, title and interest thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida, following adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
