ORDINANCE NO. 5060-90
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO PURCHASING; CREATING SECTION 42.07, CODE OF
ORDINANCES, TO IMPOSE AN ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE FOR
VENDORS DESIRING TO BE INCLUDED ON THE BIDDERS MAILING
LIST; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 42.07, Code of ordinances, is created to read:
Sec. 42.07. Bidders list.
The purchasing agent is authorized to maintain a list of vendors for the
purpose of mailing notices inviting bids or requests for proposals from time to
time. A vendor who desires to be included on the bidders mailing list shall
complete a vendor's application and pay a ten ($10.00) annual registration fee.
Fees shall be•due and payable on a calendar year basis, and shall not be
proratable or refundable.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
