RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; CREATING SECTION : •. °r CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT 136.028 , REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO PROPERTY ADJACENT TO SCENIC CORRIDORS; ESTABLISHING DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR t PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE EAST SIDE OF BAYSHORE ?. BOULEVARD; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section i. Section 136.028, Code of Ordinances, is created to read: }5r Sec. 136.028. Development requirements applicable to property adjacent to designated scenic corridors. 4i Notwithstanding any other provision of the land development code to•the .?r contrary, the following development requirements shall apply to property af, adjacent to designated scenic corridors: (a) East side of Bayshore Boulevard. All development and redevelopment of property adjacent to the east side of Bayshore Boulevard shall occur-in such a manner that views of Old' Tampa Bay are not unreasonably obstructed or diminished from Bayshore Boulevard: ?S f'• • ' E' (1) No wall or fence in excess of three (3) feet in height shall be ;eY? • permitted. N':E (2) No hedge or other grouping of shrubs in excess of three (3) feet in height shall be planted. 7 (b) Reserved. Section 2.
