AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AMENDING SECTION
136.011, CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ESTABLISH ADDITIONAL
if GUIDELINES FOR REVIEW OF REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS OF
DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Paragraph (4) is added to Subsection (e) of Section 136.011,
Code of Ordinances, to read:
Sec. 136.011. Transfer of development rights.
(e) Guidelines for review. In reviewing any request for transfer of
development rights, the city commission shall take into account the following:

and 24.4.2 of the com rehensive plan, which promote the transfer of development
ri hts to rotect wetlands and other natural resources and encourage the
creative use of open space and development ractices to provide visual relief
from urban monotony.

y Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
