AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
AT THE REAR OF LOT 3, BLOCK D, NORTHWOOD ESTATES
SUBDIVISION, TRACT C, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Frank W. and Mae J. Farrell, owners of
certain real property located in the City of Clearwater, that the City vacate
a portion of the drainage and utility easement described herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary for
municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
The easterly 5 feet of the existing 10-foot drainage and utility
easement at the rear of Lot 3, Block D, Northwood Estates
Subdivision, Tract C, as recorded in Plat Book 75, Pages 65 and 66,
of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida,
is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims
and releases all of its right, title and interest thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida, following adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
