DINANCE NO. 4
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING THE NORTH-SOUTH 5-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LYING
WEST OF THE EAST LOT LINE OF LOTS 2 THROUGH 6, MANDALAY
SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Linda M. Taylor, owners of certain real
property located in the City of Clearwater, that the City vacate the utility
easement described herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary for
municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
The North-South 5-foot utility easement lying west of the east lot
line of Lots 2 through 6, Mandalay Subdivision, according to the
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 14, Page 32, of the public'
records of Pinellas County, Florida,
is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims
and releases all of its right, title and interest thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida, following adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
