RESOLUTION
No. 83- 65
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE EITHER BY HAND OR FACSIMILE SIGNATURE ANY AND
ALL CHECKS DRAWN BY THE CITY OF CLEARWATER ON CITY OF
CLEARWATER ACCOUNTS.
WHEREAS, the CIty Manager of the City of Clearwater has appalnted DANIEL J.
DEIGNAN as Finance DIrector; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to officially designate and authorize
Daniel J. Deignan, os Finance Director of the City of Clearwater, to sign all checks drawn by
the City of Clearwater on any and every account of any fund operated by the City of
Clearwater In any bank where such account or occounts ore malntolned either by hand or by
use of mechanical check-signing equipment:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND
REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
I. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby officially
designates and authorizes DANIEL J. DEIGNAN, Finance Director, to execute either by hand
or facsimile signature any and all checks drawn by the City of Clearwater on my and every
account of any fund operated by the City of Clearwater in any bank where such account or
accounts are maintained.
2. That a certified copy of this ResolutIon be forwarded forthwith to the various
Bonks of the area where accounts of the City of Clearwater are maintained and said copy shall
be the official authorlzotion of the City of Clearwater to such Bank to accept checks bearing
either the signature or the mechanically affixed facsimile slgnatue of the sold Finance
Director.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, A.D. 1983.
