A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN ,THE
CASE OF EDMUND S. WHITSON, JR. V. CITY OF'
CLEARWATER, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 83-3865-16.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant
in an action for declaratory and injunctive relief which is the subject
matter of the case of Edmund S. Whitson, Jr. v. City of Clearwater,
Circuit Civil No. 83-3865-16;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA.
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all
steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of Edmund S.
Whitson, Jr. v. City of Clearwater. Circuit Civil No. 83-3865-16.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its pas sage.
