A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE
OF CLEARWATER SEVILLE LIMITED V. CITY OF
CLEARWATER, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 81-10190-07.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant
in an action for injunctive relief which is the subject matter of the case of
Clearwater Seville Limited, a Limited Partnership, and Clearwater
Development Corporation, a Florida corporation v. The City of Clearwater,
a Florida Municipal Corporation, Circuit Civil No. 81-10190-07;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all
steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of Clearwater
Seville Limited, a Limited Partnership, and Clearwater Development
Corporation, a Florida corporation v. The City of Clearwater, a Florida
Municipal Corporation, Circuit Civil No. 81-10190-07.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
