R E S O L U T I O N ''No. 81 -73 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE OF EUGENE B. THOMAS V. CITY OF CLEAR- WATER, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 81-9073-7. WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Jack Bryant and Bill Burchfield have been made defendants in an action for damages, which is the subject matter of the case of Eugene B. Thomas vs. City of Clearwater, Jack Bryant and Bill Burchfield, Circuit Civil No. 81-9073-7; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: r 1.. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater, Jack Bryant and Bill Burchfield in the case of Eugene B. Thomas v. City of Clearwater, Jack Bryant and Bill Burchfield, Circuit Civil No, 81-9073-7. Z. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
