LOAN ASSOCIATION AND BRANCH OFFICES OF THE AMERIFIRST

, he City of Clearwater has authorized several banks to serve
as agents for the purpose of collecting payments of utility bills for customers of
the City of Clearwater Utility System; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater -•iisheo to expand this service by
designating Amerifirst Federal Savings & Loan Association and its branch offices
as collection agents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND
1;Fr','~,'''•: +?' REGULARLY ASSEMBLED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Amerifirst Federal Savings & Loan Association and branch
$'"•"2, M ,, offices of the Amerifirst Federal Savings & Loan Association are hereby designated
17 \ hiss as agents for the City of Clearwater for the pur ase'of receiving collections of
utility bills of the City of Clearwater Utility System.
2. That collections of all funds will be transmitted daily to the
4•s1 sY}-.AA f` City of Clearwater's Utility Lockbox Operation previously established for that

3. That transmittals will be reported to the appropriate City
department pursuant to such instructions as may be issued by such department.
k. That this Resolution shall continue in force in said Association
and said Association may consider the facts concerning the holders of said offices,
respectively and their signatures to be and continue as set forth herein.
5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
