A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
L? CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE
CITY OF DUNEDIN, FLORIDA, IN ITS EFFORTS TO
UPGRADE STATE ROAD 580.
WHEREAS, the. traffic conditions on State Road 580 have reached

crisis proportions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dunedin is attempting and has been attempting
to have the road widened; and
WHEREAS, continual delays have placed the project in jeopardy;
and

WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to indicate its support for
the City of Dunedin in its attempt to get this road project started and thus
remove a problem which has region-wide impact; and

€1; WHEREAS, at the same time the City Commission wishes to urge
;; the State Department of : ransportation to continue with its improvement
4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its,
adoption.
