'. r•, `. z., , R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N No. 81 - 44 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEAR- WATER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY. WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has found It necessary to construct and maintain a 5-foot wide pedestrian walkway across the right- of-way and track of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company adjacent, to the North side of Woodlawn Street; and WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to that effect for formal execution by its corporate officers, as well as the proper municipal officials of the City of Clearwater; and WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a resolution be adopted by the City, formally approving said agreement and authorizing the proper City officials to execute same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate municipal officials of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and empowered to execute a certain agreement with the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company, bearing date of April 8, 1981, in connection with the construction and main- tenance of a 5-foot wide pedestrian walkway across the rightiof-way and track of the Railroad adjacent to the North side of Woodlawn Street. 2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th y June, A.
