1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater agrees with
the development of a Comprehensive Regional Policy Plan and requests the
support of the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation to insure regional
councils are adequately funded by the State of Florida to perform this
essential task as mandated by Chapter 160.
2. Copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Pinellas
County Legislative Delegation and to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning
Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER APPROVING SUPPORT FOR
THE STATE FUNDING OF DEVELOPMENT OF MANDATED
COMPREHENSIVE REGIONAL POLICY PLANS FOR THE

WHEREAS, Chapter 160 of the Florida Statutes authorized the
formulation of regional planning councils; and
WHEREAS, the present boundaries of the Tampa Bay Regional
Planning Council most closely relate to the real socio-economic boundaries
