A'RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT CREATING THE
TAMPA BAY REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL,

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has entered into an interlocai
agreement pursuant to Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, establishing the Tampa
Bay Regional Planning Council; and
WHEREAS, the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council has been
designated the Area Agency on Aging for Pasco and Pinellas Counties; and
WHEREAS, the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council must create
a special purpose committee to carry out the responsibilities of the designation;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council
adopted an amendment to the interlocal agreement by unanimous vote on
April 13, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the amendment to the interlocai agreement is considered
to be in the best interest of the City of Clearwater,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Cbmmission of the City of Clearwater, Florida
hereby approves the amendment to the interlocal agreement establishing the
Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council which was adopted by the Board of the
Planning Council on April 13, 1981, a copy of which is attached and incorporated
herein.
Z. That a copy of this resolution be sent to the Tampa Bay Regional
Planning Council.
