A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DETERMINING
TO PROCEED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF SANITARY
SEWERS TO SERVE PROPERTIES ON SOUTH SIDE OF
FAIRMONT STREET FROM ROLLEN ROAD WEST TO
BETTY LANE.
WHEREAS, Section 19-'46 of Ordinance No. 2107 of the City of
Clearwater establishes the procedure to be utilized in repairing or installing
paving, drains or curbs in streets of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-46 of Ordinance No. 2107, a
notice of intention to proceed with the installation of sanitary sewers to serve
properties on the South side of Fairmont Street from Rollen Road West to
Betty Lane, was published once a week for two consecutive weeks, namely
an March 13, 1981 and March 24, 1981; and
WHEREAS, such notice established the public hearing date as
April 2, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held such public hearing on April 2,
1981, and received the objections to such improvement project and found
the same to be insufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
believes that it would benefit the health, welfare and safety of the residents
if nuch project proceeded;
NOW, THER EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
pursuant to Section 19-46 of Ordinance No. 2107, having held a public hearing
on April 2, 1981, after publishing notice of such hearing, for the purpose
of hearing any and all objections to the project, and having received such
objections and finding the same to be insufficient hereby finds and determines
that the improvement to install sanitary sewers to serve properties on the
