A RESOLUTION AUT14ORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE'
CASE OF KENNETH L. SMITH, JR., ET AL, V.
CITY OF CLEARWATER, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL
NO. 80-14135-19.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a party defendant
in an action for damages which is the subject matter of the case of Kenneth
L. Smith, Jr., et al v. City of Clearwater, et al, Circuit Civil No.
80-14135-19;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of Kenneth L. Smith,
Jr., et al v. City of Clearwater, et al, Circuit Civil No. 80-14135-19.
Z. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of January, A. D. 1981.
