A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION O}"' 'fHE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DETERMINING
TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE
INSTALLATION OF A CONCRETE SIDEWALK ON
SOUTH SIDE OF STATE ROAD 580 FROM 1160 FEET
EAST OF COUNTRYSIDE BOULEVARD EAST 800 FEET
IN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, establishes the procedure Lo be utilized in repairing
or installing sidewalks in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances, a
notice of intention to proceed with the imprc.ovement of the inlltallat~on of a
concrete sidewalk on SouUl elide of State Road 580 from 1160 feet East of
Countryside Boulevard East 800 feet was published once a week for two
consecutive weeks, namely on December 4, 1980, and December'9" 1980;
and
WHEREAS, such notice established the public hearing date as
December 18, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held such public hearing on December
18, 1980, and received the objections to such improvement project and found
the same to be insufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
believes that it would benefit the health, welfare and oafety of the residents
if such project proceeded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florid..,
pursuant to Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances, having held a public
hearing on December 18, 1980, after publishing notice of such hearing, for
the purpose of hearing any and all objections to the project. and having received
lIuch objections and finding the same to be insufficient hereby finds and
