A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DETERMINING
TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE
INS TA LLA TION OF A CONCRETE SIDEWALK ALONG
ENTERPnISE ROAD BETWEEN COUNTRYSIDE
BOULEVARD AND DUNEDIN INDUSTRIAL PARK AND
THE PO!\TION OF LAURELWOOD DRIVE SOUTH OF
ROYAL PINES CIRCLE, APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET,
IN THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, establishes the procedure to be utilized In repairing
or installing sidewalks in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to SecHon 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances, a
notice of intention to proceed with the improvement of the installation of a
concrete sidewalk along Enterprise Road between Countryside Boulevard and
Dunedin Industrial Park and the portion of Laurelwood Drive South of Royal
Pines Circle, approxinlately 100 feet, was published once a week fOr two
consecutive weeks, namely on December 4. 1980, and December 9. 1980;
and
WHEREAS. such notice established the public hearing date as
December IB, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held such public hearing on December
18, 1980. and received the objections to such improvement project and found
the same to be insufficient; and
WHEREAS. the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida.
believes that it would benefit the health, welfare and safety of the residents
if such project proceeded;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
pursuant to Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances, having held a public
hearing on December 18, 1980, after publishing notice of such hearing, for
the purpose of hearing any a.nd all objections to the project, and having received
such objections and finding the same to be insufficient hereby finds and
