A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, PLACING A I.:.lEN
ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PAST DUE
UTILITY BILLS.
WHEREAS. the City Manager pursuant to Section 24-8 of the
Clearwater Code of Ordinanccs has presented to the City Commission
a list of propertics with unpaid utility bills; and
WHEREAS. the list of such properties is set forth in Exhibit A
attached to this resolution and made a part hereim and
WHEREAS. the City Commission, as required by Section 24-8. has
established a public hearing date, to wit: December 18, 1980. for the
purpose of considering whether or not to place a lien on each such
property: and
WHEREAS. notice of such public hearing has been proY'idcd to each
property owner on the list; and
WHEREAS. such public hearing was held on December 18, 1980;
and
WHEREAS. pursuant to Section 24-8, the City Commission wishes
to adopt a resolution placing a lien on the properties identified on
Exhibit A;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA.
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That pursuant to Section 24-8 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, the properties listed on Exhibit A, attached
to this resolution and made a part hereof, after notice to each property
owner. were considered at a public hearing held December 18, 1980,
the question being should a lien for unpaid utility charges be placed
against each property on the list; that such hearing was conducted; and

charge should be placed against each such property..
Z. That the City Commission. pursuant to Section Z4- 8 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater. hereby places a lien against
each of the properties listed on Exhibit A attached hereto, such Hen being.
one for unpaid utility charges in the amount set forth on Exhibit A.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a notice of
lien against each property Hsted on Exhibit A for the amount shown on
Exhibit A and to file the same in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit CO'lTt
of Plnellas County, Florida.
4. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
