A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA. AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR
A GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR
THE HUMANITIES.
WHEREAS, thc National Endowment for the HumaniticlI hall a
grant program for youth projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwatcr wishclI to apply such a grant
to conduct a Clearwatcr Youth Vaudeville Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, supports such project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to prepare and
Bubmit an application to the National Endovnnent for the Humanities for.
the purpose of obtaining a grant to conduct a Clearwater Youth Vaudeville
Project.
2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of
the City of Clearwater submittals relating to the grant, and to accept such
grant on behalf of the City of Clearwater.
3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
