A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE
CASE OF JOHN S. RAWLINGS, ET UX V. CITY OF
CLEARWATER, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 80..8~83-17.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been'made a party defendant
in an action for damages which is the subject matter of the case of John S.
Rawlings, ct we v. City of Clearwater, et 21.1. Circuit Civil No. 80-8283-17:
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to lake any and all steps
neceflSary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of John S. Rawlings
and Christina Rawlings. his wire, v. City of Clearwater, a municipal
corporation, and James T. Grigley, Circuit Civil No. 80-8283-17.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th
day of August, A. D. 1980.
