A RESOLUTION OF THE CITy COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATERJ FLORIDAJ DETERMIN-
ING TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF
JASMINE WAY FROM CREST AVENUE WEST AND
CREST AVENUE FROM JASMINE WAY TO DRUID
ROAD THROUGH CONSTRUCTING, PAVING. CURBS
AND DRAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Section lZ3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clearwater. which was formerly part of the City Charter prior to the
paBBagc of Ordinance No. ,1830 containing a new CharterJ which section
has now become an ordinance, establishes the procedure to be utili~ed
in repairing or installing paving, drains or curbs in streets of the City
of Clearwater: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section lZ3 of the Code of Ordinances J a notice
of intention to proceed with the improvement of Jasmine Way from Crest
Avenue West and Crest Avenue from Jasmine Way to Druid Road, such
improvement to include paving, curbs and drainage was published once a
week for two consecutive weeks, namely on April Z, 1980 and April 8. 1980;
and
WHEREAS, Buch public notice established the public hearing date as
April 17, 1980: and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held such public hearing on April 17,
1980, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
believes that it would benefit the health, welfare and safety of the residents
if such project proceeded thus eliminating drai.nage problems and bad
driving conditions:

NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWSs
1. That the City Commission of th6 City of Clearwater, Florida,
pursuant to Section 1203 of the Code of Ordinances; having held a public
hearing on April 17; 1980; aft'dr publishing notice of such hearing, for
the purpose of hearing any and all objections to the project; and
finding that the obj ections made. are insufficient,
hereby finds and determines that the improvement of Jasmine Way fro~
Crest Avenue West and Crest Avenue from Jasmine Way to Druid Road
such improvement to include paving, curbs and drainage, should be and
it is directed to proceed.
. 2o. That the question of the assessment of the costs of such project
shall be presented to the' City Commission following completion of the
proj ect.
3. That this Resolu~on ahall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
