1. The City, ae "requesting authority II under tho term8 and provisions
of Section 161.151 oC the Florida Statutes, does herewith by this Resolution,
submit to the Board oC Trusteel!l of tho Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the
State oE Florida, for their approval all provided by statute, the aioreaald
beach erosion control project and erodon control line ae provided 'for in
the aforesaid Contract and the aforesaid eurvey and drawing made by the
Englnce;o.ing Department of the City, and by this Resolution does hereby
, authorize and instruct the City M&nager of the City to forward and submit
this Resolution ,and the aforesaid survey, to the Board oE Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida upon the Cinal
execution of the aforesaid Contract by the City as authorized.
z. The City respectfully requests that the Board of Trustees of
the Internal hnprovement Trust Fund of the State of Florida shall give
notice of this written Resolution of the City as requesting authority, the
survey, the date on which the Board oE Trustees of the Internal Improvement
Trust Fund will hold a public hearing for the purposes of and as provided
for in Section 161.161 (2) of the Florida Statutes.
3. The City respectfully requests the Board of Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Trust Fund to act upon this request as expedltiously
as possible inasmuch as the City is hopeful of beginning its dredging in
Clea.rwater Pass and the b~ach nourishment and restoration program as
,soon as is reasonably possible.
4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
