A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF .
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSES-

SINO THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY THE COSTS OF
HA VINO MOWED OR CLEARED THE OWNER'S LOT.
WHEREAS, it bas been determined by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, Florida,' through the passage of Ordinance No. 1894 that
for the purpose of promoting the health, safity and general we1!are of the
citizens and residents of the City of Clearwater, lots, pa.rcels or tracts of
land within the corp'orate l.iJ::::Uts of the City of Clearwate:-, Pinellas COu:lty,
Florida, such as described below should be cleared of weeds, rubbish,
debris and other noxious material; and
WHEREAS, nQtice pursuant to Section Z3:6-7 of t:ce Code of
Ordina..uces was provided to the owner of each of the lots listed below that
such lot ~s in vi elation of Chapter Z3:6 - the Lot Clearing Code;. and
WHEREAS. pursuant to Section Z3B-7 of the Code of Ordinances,
following the expiratio%1 of ten (10) days from the date of each notice but not
less than iliteen ,( 15) days aiter such notice a further hearing was held ior
the City Con:u::cission of t}:1e City of Clear-water, Florida, with notice oi such
hearing being provided to each properly owner listed below to attend and
present evidence relating to why the lot s,hould not be cleared or mowed by
the City; and

WHEREAS, the City Commissi'Cn pursuant to Section Z3B-9 of the
Code of Ordinances bas authorized each of the lots listed below to be 'cleared
by the City and the actual costs of clearing or mowing plus arhninistrative
costs, to be assessed against each property owner.
NOW, 'rHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
IN SESSION DULY AND RECiULARLY ASSEMBLED,.AS

opportunity, thirty (30) clays, within which to pay the costs and a.dministrative
charges set forth OD Exhibit A but no payments have been received.
3. 'I'hat each lot listed on Exhibit A, baring been cleared or, mowed
by the City,. the City Com..mission pursuant to Section Z3B-ll of the Code
of Ordinances hereby assesses a lien on beha.!! of the City of Clearwater
aga.inst each parcel ShOWD on Exhibit A for the a.ctual cosh of mowing or

4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepue a. notice of
