" 1 l I I I I , ! i :1 . ;1 J3 ') RESOLUTION NO. 99-16 . A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARW ATERt FLORIDA, ASSESSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN GLENWOOD ESTATES ADDITION, CLEARWATER. FLORIDAt HAVING A POST OPACE ADDRESS OF 1568 DREW STREET, CLEARW A TERt FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,639.00 FOR THE COSTS INCURRED BY THE CITY ORDERING THE OWNER TO DEMOLISH A DANGEROUS STRUCTURE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standard Building Code, the Building Official detennined that certain real property described herem and the building situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and did not properly comply with the requirements of said Code before expenses were incurred; and, WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater and the owner have caused the demolition of the unsafe building, and the City's cost of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Building Official having ordered the demolition of the unsafe building situated on the following described property: Glenwood Estates Addition, Lot 35 (parcel Number 11-29-15-31230-000-0350 ). Owner of record: Harry J Rittman Estate 10235 Ulmerton Road #207 Largo, FL 33771-4137 'and the City of Clearwater having now completed said workt the City Commission does hereby assess and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary costs incurred as follows: TOTAL DEMOLITION COSTS (See Attachment II A ") $2t639.00 ,...) As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other lienS except the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City with interest at a rate of eight percent (8%) per annum. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of the assessment against said property, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
