A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ASSESSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED IN GREENWOOD PARK #2, CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, HAVING A POST OFFICE ADDRESS OF 1140
PALM BLUFF STREET, CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AS
. DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $5,644.00 FOR THE COSTS OF DEMOLmON
INCURRED IN REMOVING A DANGEROUS STRUCTURE,
\\'lTHOUT THE CONSENT OF OWNER.

, WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Cleanvater Code of Ordinances and Ole
Standard Building Code, the Building Official determined that certain real property described herein
,and the building situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, untit for human' habitation, and
dangerous and detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and did not
properly comply with the requirements of said Code, and found that an emergency existed which~
in his opinion, involved danger to human life and health, and ordered the demolition of the
building; and

, WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has caused the demolition of the building, and the cost
of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the
property; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Building Official having ordered the demolition of the building situated, on
the following described property:
Greenwood Park 1/2, Block F, Lots 52 and 53

~tion 2. As' soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the,
, . amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other
, liens except the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City, with
inte~t at a rate of eight percent (8%) per annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of
, the assessment against said property, and to. record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida.
