CLERK TO RECORD THIS RESOLUTION IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas

County, Florida, by Resolution passed on May 8, 1979, requested the

City of Clearwater to change the name of Haven Street which runs in front
of the Courthouse. and
s'sl r. r', WHEREAS, Court Street was realigned to flow directly into what
is called Haven Street; and
??s?;?!•?,?<:.':::,, WHEREAS, Haven Street is only one and one-half blocks in length,
'?? "%•?'}= "' "r: it would be less confusing if the name was changed to Court Street,
???•'}. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the portion of Haven Street extending from realigned Court

z Q portion of Haven Street existing between Garden Avenue and Ft. Harrison
Avenue be renamed "Court Street".

t. or inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed
to the extent of their conflict.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this resolution
in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
4. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
