A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING
THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PERMITS AND REPORTS
ISSUED BY THE CLEARWATER POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Clearwater Police Department presently handles the
processing and issuance of a series of permits and requests for reports
and documents, and
WHEREAS, a need exists to establish a schedule of rates and charges
applicable to each such item which is more reflective of the clerical staff
and technical staff time spent on each item; and
. WHEREAS, it is the belief of the City Commission that the schedule
set out below more accurately reflects the rate or charge necessary to
defray the cost of providing such service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. There is hereby set and established the following fees and charges
which shall be applicable to the permits and report requests set out below
which are presently processed by the City of Clearwater Police Department:
Solicitor Permits $ 3.00
Taxi Permits 3.00
CabaretlD Cards 3,00
Bank Employee ID Processing 3.00
Street Artist ID 3.00
Fingerprinting 1.00
Accident Report Copies 2.00
Record Checks by Mail 1.00
Verification Letters 2.00
Handbill Distribution Permit 3.00
Vehicle for Hire Permit 3.00
Amusement Machine Permit 10.00
2. That the fees provided in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be
paid to the City of Clearwater at the time each item is obtained from the
Clearwater Police Department.
