A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE
OF CARLOUEL YACHT CORPORATION, ET AL, V.
CITY FUEL OIL COMPANY OF ST. PETERSBURG, INC.
AND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, CIRCUIT CIVIL
NO. 79-3202-12.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is one of the defendants in the
case of Carlouel Yacht Corporation, at al v. City Fuel Oil Company of
St. Petersburg, Inc., at al, Circuit Civil No. 79-3202-12,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of Carlouel Yacht
Corporation, a Florida corporation, Carlouel Yacht Club, Inc., a Florida
corporation, individually, and f/u/b of Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc.,
a foreign corporation vs. City Fuel Oil Company of St. Petersburg, inc.,
a Florida corporation and City of Clearwater, a municipal corporation,
Circuit Civil No. 79-3202»12.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this Sth day of April, A. D. 1979.
