A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION DECLARING
ITS INTENT TO REPAIR SIDEWALKS ABUTTING LOTS
14 AND 15, BIDWELL'S OAKWOOD ADDITION AND
ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING.
WHEREAS, the sidewalk abutting Lots 14 and 15, Bidwell's Oakwood
Addition, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1,
page: 46, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, is in a had
state of disrepair and in such condition poses a potential hazard to the
public; and fe
WHEREAS, notice to the owners of such lots June B. James and
Vallie P. Briggs of such condition has not resulted in the sidewalk being

repaired; and
WHEREAS, Section 122 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, provides a procedure whereby the City Commission may proceed
to repair such sidewalk; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater pursuant
to Section I22 wishes to declare its intent to proceed to repair such sidewalk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
pursuant to Section 122 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
hereby declares Its intent to repair the sidewalk abutting Lot 14 and 15,
Bidwell' a Oakwood Addition, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 1, page 46 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
because such sidewalk is in a state of disrepair and constitutes a public
hazard.
2. That a public hearing relating to the proposed repair of such
sidewalk shall be conducted during the public hearing portion of the City
Commission meeting to be held December 21, 1978.

3. That the City Clark pursuant to Section 122 of the Charter is
hereby directed to advertise ouch public hearing in a newspaper of general
circulation existing within the City of Clearwater, Florida.
4. That such notice shall by its terms require all persons interested
to appear to show cause why such sidewalk should not be repaired and at
such public hearing the City Commission shall consider the sufficiency of
all objections to such repair project.
5. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
