A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO BRING AN ACTION TO
SEEK REMOVAL OF A FENCE ERECTED WITHOUT
A PERMIT,
WHEREAS, the City Commission on March 16, 1978, denied the
request of William R. Corum for a variance; and
WHEREAS, a fence which does not conform with the present
Clearwater zoning code was erected on Mr. Corum's property without benefit
of a permit; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Corum sought a variance for such fence and his
request was denied by the City Commission on March 16, 1978, in an
appeal hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Building Director has forwarded a letter to Mr.
Corum directing removal of the fence within a specified period- of time;
NOW, THER EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney's Office be and it is hereby authorized to
bring an action seeking removal of a fence erected on the property of
William R. Corum if such fence is not removed within the time and as
ordered by the Building Director.
2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, A. D. 1978.
