A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PINELLAS PLANNING
COUNCIL FOR CATEGORICAL GRANT FUNDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $15, 000.
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council has budgeted
funds under the Categorical Grants Program to develop model planning
approaches; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has submitted an application
for such funds; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council has authorized such
a grant to the City of Clearwater in the amount of $15, 000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor-Commissioner, City Manager, City Clerk and
City Attorney be authorized to execute an agreement with the Pinellas County
Planning Council for categorical grant funds in the amount of $15, 000 and
to furnish all information and materials necessary to complete said agreement.
2. That a certified copy of this resolution be furnished to the Pinellas
County Planning Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March, A. D. 1977.
