A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING SERVICE OF DR.
MICHAEL M. BENNETT AS PRESIDENT OF ST.
PETERSBURG JUNIOR COLLEGE.
WHEREAS, Dr. Michael M. Bennett is retiring after 38 years of
service to St. Petersburg Junior College, 28 of these as its President;
and
WHEREAS, his untiring efforts have been a deciding factor in the
growth of St. Petersburg Junior College and in its influence and benefit to
not only its students, but to all of the citizens of Pinellas Countyj and
WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Clearwater desire to join
with the students and the other citizens of Pinellas County in commanding
Dr. Bennett for his many years of outstanding service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, . AS
FOLLOWS.
I.' That tote City Commission hereby commends Dr. Michael M.
Bennett for his many years of faithful service and his untiring efforts to
the betterment of St. Petersburg Junior College, its many students
through the years and to Pinellas County as a whole.
2. T"T, a duplicate original of this Resolution be presented to
the said Dr. Michael M6 Bennett.
