A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
a-?....-.' CITY OF CLEARWATER ACTING AS TRUSTEES OF
THE CLEARWATER EMPLOYEES PENSION FUND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO EXECUTE
SUCH DOCUMENTS AS ARE NECESSARY TO TRANSFER
SECURITIES TO THE FUND'S CUSTODIAN BANK OR '
ITS NOMINEE.
Trustees Resolution No. 78-2
WHEREAS, Section 4 of Chapter 23214, Special Acts of 1945, as
amended, and as set forth in Ordinance No. 1648, provides that administration
of the City of Clearwater Employees Pension Fund shall be in charge of the
Trustees of such Fund, and further directs that the City Commission shall
be the Trustees of the Pension Fund and that the City Treasurer shall be
the Treasurer for said Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the Trustees have placed the Pension Fund Stork Portfolio
under professional investment management; and
WHEREAS, securities owned by the Pension Fund have been placed
by the Trustees in the custody of the Barnett Bank of Clearwater, N.A.;
and
WHEREAS, the Custodial Agreement provides that securities held in
the Custodial Account may be registered in the owner's name or Bank's
nominee; and
WHEREAS, the registration of all securities are now being transferred
to the nominee name of the Custodian Bank; and
WHEREAS, the transfer agent to General Electric Corporation requires
a specific resolution of the Trustees authorizing the City Treasurer to sign
the document transferring registration of General Electric Stock to the
nominee name of the Custodian Bank;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ACTING AS TRUSTEES OF THE CLEARWATER EMPLOYEES
PENSION FUND, IN SI.3SION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Treasurer of the City of Clearwater he and hereby
is authorized to sign such documents as may he required to transfer
registration of 200 shares of General Electric Common Stock now registered
in the name of City of Clearwater Employees Pnesion Fund to "Cinban"
the nominee name of Barnett Bank of Clearwater, the Custodian Bank.
