WHEREAS, it would be in the'best interests of the City of Clearwater
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING
'A DONATION OF APPROXIMATELY THIRTY (30)
ACRES OF LAND FROM TIBMA BROTHERS DEVELOP-
MENT AND CONSTRUCTION CO.
WHEREAS, Tibma Brothers Development and Construction Co.,
through its president, David G. Tibma, has notified the City of Clearwater
that it wishes to donate approximately thirty (30) acres of land to the City; and
WHEREAS, the land consists of approximately thirty (30) acres of
submerged land and upland which includes two islands and a tip of Cooper's
Point; and
to accept this donation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, on
behalf of the City hereby accepts the donation of thirty (30) acres, more or
less, of land contained in that certain deed dated December 28, 1977, from
Tibma Brothers Development and Construction Co. to the City of Clearwater,
a copy of which deed is attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and made a part herein
as if fully set forth.
2. That the City Clerk is directed to present the warranty deed from
Tibma Brothers Development and Construction Co. which is accepted by this
revolution to the Pinellas County Clerk for recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of December, A. D. 1977.
