A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATEil
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE PINELLAS PLANNING
COUNCIL FOR A MUNICIPAL PLANNING ASSISTANCE
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1 Z, 000.
WHEREAS, the Pinellas Planning Council has funds available to the
various municipalities to aid them in the planning and execution of various
programs related to the planning process; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, upon the recommendation of its
Planning Department, desires to submit an application for a Municipal
Planning Assistance Grant in the amount of $12, 000 to assist in the review,
identification and reconciliation of the City's land use plan and zoning
ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater submit an application to the Pinellas
Planning Council for a Municipal Planning Assistance Grant in the amount
of $1Z, 000 to aid in the review; identification and reconciliation of the City's
land use plan and zoning ordinance.
2. That the City Manager be authorized to execute said application
and to furnisli all material and information needed to implement the request.
