A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE PINELLAS PLANNING
COUNCIL UNDER THE CATEGORICAL GRANT PROGRAM
FOR A GRANT NOT TO EXCEED $20, 000.

WHEREAS, the Pinellas Planning Council has establiBhed a program
to make funds available to selected municipalities to aid them in specified
planning projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, upon the recommendation of its
Planning Department, desires to submit an application for a Categorical
Grant in an amount not to exceed $20, 000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater submit an application to the Pinellas
Planning Council for a. Categorical Grant in an amount not to exceed
$20,000.
2. That the City Manager be authorized to execute said application
and to furnish all material and information needed to implement the request.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this Ist day of December, A.D. 1977.
