A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, GABRIEL
CAZARES, KAREN MARTIN, KARLEEN DeBLAKER
AND FRANK DANIELS, IN THE CASE OF GOLD COAST
PLAQUE, INC., ETC. V. CITY OF CLEARWATER,
ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO, 77-9388-16.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Gabriel Cazares, Mayor-
Commissioner, Commissioner Karen Martin, Commissioner Karleen
DeBlaker, individually and jointly, and Chief of Police Frank Daniels
have been made Defendants in an action styled as Gold Coast Plaque,
Inc., a Florida corporation, d/b/a 408 Executive Social Club vs. City
of Clearwater, Gabriel Cazares, Karen Martin, Karleen DeBlaker,
individually and jointly, and Frank Daniels, Circuit Civil No. 77-9388-16;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE'CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all
steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater, Gabriel Cazares,
Mayor-Commissioner; Commissioner Karen Martin; Commissioner
Karleen DeBlaker, individually and jointly, and Chief of Police Frank
Daniels, in the case of Gold Coast Plaque, Inc., etc, vs. City of
Clearwater, et al, Circuit Civil No. 77-9388-16.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October, A. D. 1977.
