DEFEND EDWIN BLANTON AND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
IN THE CASE OF HOWARD C. PETERSEN, ET AL V. EDWIN
BLANTON, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 77-8793-15.

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater and the City's Building Department
Director, Edwin Blanton, have been served with a complaint and summons in
the case of Howard C. Petersen, Robert D. Bernheim, Matthew D. Weinstein,
James B. Smith, Harry A. Gentner, James W. Bryant, Edward E. Lind,
Henry A. Gladstone, Arno E. Krumbiegel, and Raymond L. Miller, Jr. ,
the Trustees of Fidelco Growth Investors, a Business Trust; as Petitioners,
v. Edwin Blanton, as Head of the Building Department of the City of
Clearwater, and the City of Clearwater, a Florida municipal corporation, as
Respondents, Circuit Civil No. 77-8793-15;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY .1N.ND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater and Edwin Blanton, as Head of the
City's Building Department, in the case of Howard C. Petersen, et al, v.
Edwin Blanton, et al., Circuit Civil No. 77-8793-15.
