A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE '
CASE OF SAFECO INSURANCE COMPANIES VS. THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, COUNTY COURT,
SMALL CLAIMS DIVYSION, NO. 77-5623.
WHEREAS, 'the City of Clearwater has been served with a Statement
of Claim and Summons in the case of Safeco Insurance Companies, as
Subrogee for Ellis L. Graves vs. City of Clearwater, Florida, A Municipal
Corporation, County Court, Small Claims Division, No. 77-56Z3;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF' CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of Sa€eco Insurance
Companies, as Subrogee for Ellis L. Graves vs. City of Clearwater,
Florida, A Municipal Corporation, County Court, Small Claims Division,
No. 77-5623.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of September, A.D. 1977.
