A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE EITHER BY HAND OR FACSIMILE
SIGNATURE ANY AND ALL CHECKS DRAWN BY THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER ON CITY OF CLEARWA TER
ACCOUNTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has appointed Anthony L. Shoemaker
as City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to officially designate and
authorize Anthony L. Shoemaker, as City Manager of the City of Clearwater,
to sign all checks drawn by the City of Clearwater on any and every account
of any fund operated by the City of Clearwater in any bank where such account
or accounts are maintained either by hand or by use of mechanical check-signing
equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby
officially designates and authorizes ANTHONY L. SHOEMAKER, City Manager,
to execute either by hand or facsimile signature any and all checks drawn by
the City of Clearwater on any and every account of any fund operated by the
City of Clearwater in any bank where such account or accounts are maintained.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the various Banks of the area where accounts of the City of Clearwater are
maintained and said copy shall be the official authorization of the City of
Clearwater to such Bank to accept checks bearing either the signature or the
mechanically affixed facsimile signature of the said City Manager.
