RESOLUTION
NO. 77 - 49
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE AND EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER ALL PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR CITY
OWNED SWIMMING POOLS.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, from time to time
constructs public swimming facilities; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct such facilities it is necessary to submit
applications for required permits to the Florida Department of Health and
Rehabilitative Services; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater is desirous
of authorizing the City Manager to approve and execute all such applications
for permits submitted to the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative
Services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CL.EARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida;
hereby officially authorizes the City Manager to approve and execute on behalf
of the City, of Clearwater all applications requesting permits from the State of
Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services for swimming pools.
2. That this authorization for the City Manager to approve and execute
all applications for permits for municipal swimming pools will continue until
terminated by further action of the City Commission of the City of Clearwater.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, A. D. 1977.
