A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO BRING AN ACTION TO COLLECT FOR PAST DUE
CHARGES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SEWER SERVICE,
TO THE PROPERTY NOW OCCUPIED BY WILLOUGHBY'S
OPEN HEARTH RESTAURANT.
WHEREAS, during the year 1974 the City of Clearwater extended
sewer service to tho property presently occupied by Willoughby's Open
Hearth Restaurant; and
WHEREAS, the sewer service was installed on a front foot cost of
$11.62; and
WHEREAS, the amount now due as a result of such installation is
$6, 969.32 plus interest; and
WHEREAS, attempts to resolve the charges without bringing an
action have not proved successful;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the Office of the City Attorney be and it is hereby authorized to
bring an action to collect the past due installation charges and inte=est
resulting from the installation of sewer service to the property presently occupied
by Willoughby's Open Hearth Restaurant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, A. D. 1977.
