A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO ENTER INTO A TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPART-
MENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been provided a Traffic Signal
Maintenance Agreement by the State of Florida, Department of Transportation;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it would be in the public
interest to maintain and pay electrical costs for the operation of the traffic
signal identified in Exhibit "All of the maintenance agreement and accordingly
to enter into the attached Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement with the
State of Florida, Department of Transportation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS;
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
concurs in the provisions of that certain Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement
submitted by the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, relating to
the maintenance of the traffic signal identified and described in Exhibit "A"
of the attached agreement, which agreement is attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully rewritten herein.
2. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby authorizes
the City Manager to execute and administer the attached agreement, together
with the appropriate officials of the City.
