A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN THE CASE OF L. B. FOSTER COMPANY VS.
BIG FOUR CONSTRUCTION OF WEST PALM BEACH,
ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 77-1540-9.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has been sued in the
case of L. B. Foster Company vs. Big Four Construction of West Palm
Beach, The Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Inter-Bay Marine
Construction Co. , The City of Clearwater, Florida, and the City of
Flagler Beach, Florida, Circuit Civil No. 77-1540-9; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires that the City Attorney should
enter into the defense of this litigation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater, Florida, in the case of L. B.
Foster Company vs. Big Four Construction of West Palm Beach, The Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company, Inter-Say Marine Construction Co., The City of
Clearwater, Florida, and The City of Flagler Beach, Florida, Circuit Civil
No. 77-1540-.9.
